Edgars "Edz" Sturans
CEO & President
Edz (pronounced "edge") Sturans joined BillingTree as CEO and
President in September 2014, bringing a proven track record of
leadership and results. Edz has been a visionary in the Accounts
Receivables Management (ARM) Industry since 1998 and has extensive
experience in business development and customer relationship
management. Prior to joining BillingTree, Edz was President of CR
Software where he successfully grew the business by over 450% and
facilitated the company's 2012 sale to FICO®, where he most
recently served as VP of Global Product Services.
Earlier in his career, Edz's entrepreneurial spirit led him to
the hospitality/restaurant business where he spent fourteen years
owning and operating multiple restaurants in Michigan and Vermont.
During this time, his leadership proved both creative and effective
- from managing people on the front lines to providing successful
financial results. His move to software development within the ARM
Industry was prompted by his interests in management and technology
stemming from his own business needs and a drive for new business
At BillingTree, his primary role is to lead the company's growth
through continued expansion including furthering electronic payment
adoption and technology within ARM, Auto Finance, Healthcare and
complementary verticals. He oversees the strategic direction of
BillingTree, is active in day-to-day operations of the company and
provides oversight on all key initiatives.
Edz holds a degree in Linguistics from Western Michigan

Safeway and KB Homes. He is a CPA, holds a Masters of Business
Administration from the University of Phoenix and received a degree
in Psychology from Purdue University.
Sales & Business Development
Chad has been a consultative sales
professional for the past 14 years working within the
transportation, software, and payment processing markets. He
started with BillingTree in 2003 and rejoined the company in 2007.
He is currently the VP of Sales and is responsible for
the sales and top-line revenue.
Prior to rejoining BillingTree Chad led sales initiatives as
Senior National Account Manager for Webex, an entity of

Corporate Marketing & PR
With over 25 years experience in marketing and
advertising, Dave Yohe heads up BillingTree's corporate marketing
team. Responsibilities include Marketing, Lead Generation,
Advertising, Tradeshows, Public Relations, Marcom, and Branding.
Additional focus is spent on Analyst Relations and New Market
Dave joined BillingTree in February 2010 after a
multi-year leadership role with online fraud detection
and prevention firm the 41st Parameter. Dave has also
successfully led marketing teams for Infusionsoft and JDA Software,
gaining over 15 years of Software Technology
marketing experience within the Financial Services, Retail,
e-commerce and CRM verticals.
He received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of
Melissa joined BillingTree in 2012 as
Vice President of Technology. Melissa brings over 13 years
experience in systems and software development, project management,
audit and compliance. Melissa currently manages all business
technology, telecommunications, wide area networking, local area
networking, desktop support, information security, disaster
recovery planning, compliance and software development
Melissa previously served as Vice President of Technology for
Equity Analytics LLC (a subsidiary of Bank of America Corp.) and as
Manager, Product Development at Gradient Analytics, Inc.

Nils joined BillingTree in April 2015 to
provide leadership for the Professional Services division and
advance the company's mission and objectives around all
customer-facing functions, including Client Services, Customer and
Partner Support, Partner Integrations, Boarding and

experience to BillingTree, in services leadership, management,
operations and HR from organizations including Bloomberg, FICO, CR
Software, FrontPoint Security and US Soccer.
Nils earned a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University, and
his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago.
As BillingTree's Product Director, Joseph
manages the product roadmap and go-to-market activities with the
firm's product partners. Joseph brings over 20 years of experience
in the payments industry.
Prior to BillingTree, Joseph managed product marketing for
Insight.com and also held various product management positions for
companies including Magtek, TrustCommerce and TSYS.
Joseph earned a Business Management and Information Services
degree from University of Phoenix.
As BillingTree's Director of
Product Development, Bill oversees the company's IP including
deliverirng enhancements and developing new technology products for
the firm. Bill brings over 10 years of experience in software
development and the payments industry.
Prior to BillingTree, Bill held various software development
positions for companies including Intel, Perficient, Heartland
Payment Systems, amazon and more.
Bill earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and
Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley.
